Sony BDP-S380 & BBC iPlayer

I recently purchased this item and did a network update to ensure I had the lastest firmware, however BBC iPlayer does not appear on the list of Network video items. I noticed that some people had been having the same issue on the BDP-S370 so I tried one of there suggestions (reseting network information), however it still did not work. Any suggestions?

I have just purchased a S380 and installed it. The iplayer icon appears but whn it is clicked on nothing happens. There are no updates for me to install as it is brand new. Everything else works fine - can anyone help

Just had the strangest thing happen on iplayer.  I got a web page with error 500 and a message that the server or software might be down for work.  This let me browse the whole BBC website via the home button at the top of the page.

Therefore the s380 must have a browser built in, that works quite well, showing all the pics, text and links and letting you scroll and click, on the BBC mobile website at least.

Makes me wonder why they haven't enabled a browser icon in the menu?  To make you upgrade to a dearer model perhaps?
