New xperia s update dated 6/27/12, 10am PHL time

When I connected my xperia S to my laptop, a prompt saying that there's an available update for my unit. May what is this update all about and what are the modifications it will give my unit should I try to accept the update? At least I have already an idea on what to expect once I engage my xperia s to an update. Any answer is greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

I think he tried yesterday again.  He had to update his JAVA on his computer, and then the error message was gone kasi it proceeded to installing it na.  I haven't heard from him again but last night he was already downloading the update.

tries last night, pero until step 2 lang siya sa PCC wont continue though wala naman error msg, pero ayun since sleepy na stop ko muna...then tries it today, ayun back to ERROR msg. Yung SUS nmaman same problem.:smileycry: Dun sa site naman di ko kasi alam ano talaga dapat gawin hayz but anyways yun JAva am not pretty sure kung tama din kasi everytime I go sa site error msg blah blah...

how about trying to decrypt the software that comes from SUS using flashtool and manualy flash it agian?..do you think will it work?...

i did it a while ago and yes it was ICS indeed, but the problem about my "Timescape Widget" still occurs, but nevertheless it was quite good and buttery smooth though i xperienced a lil lag at first but as minutes pass it seems to be ok,,,,

Have you tried using another computer?  If you haven't any, then the best thing to do is just go to a service center to have it updated.  Dun ba sa PCC, sa downloading sya nag-stop?

I don't know how to decrypt it. Maybe you can share?

Regarding your Timescape Widget, try doing the following steps, maybe it will help:

1. Go to Settings > Apps > All (tab)
2. Tap Timescape feeds > Clear data
3. Do the same for all Timescape entries (Timescape, Feed, Friends, Friends view, Share)
4. Do the same for Facebook, Twitter, and any other social feeds you have integrated with Timescape.

See if that helps.

Haha... sa HK na lang ako punta, mas malapit pa. Yup, no issues for me at all, yun lang. And as it turns out.  Sa Smart numbers lang yung issue na yun.  Don't know why.  Heheheh.
