I have an Sony RDR-HXD870. How to upgrade the DVD-player to the new DivX version?

The new burning program have a new version of divX which not fit to Sony RDR-HXD870. Can someone help me by telling how to upgrade my DVD player.

Hi,

DivX software can only be implimented on pc platforms and cannot be used on dvd players or such like,

any machines that support DivX can only be updated with latest firmware (if any) as KDL-CX520 has said

Hi,

I believe there is nothing specially to upgrade the Divx , only you can update the latest firmware as mentioned in Sony support page
