XZ Premium doesn't play certain MP4 & avi video formats, where to download CODEC pack?

XZ Premium does not supprot certain types of video format in MP4 & .avi, where to download CODEC pack without installing other video players than Sony's own native player?

I doubt there's a way to install additional codecs. I know you mentioned not installing any video players, but I think you should try VLC, it'll probably play any format you throw at it.

anyway, do the files that XZP fails to open are played fine by other devices, like another phone or a PC?

Thank you for the suggestion, no, they don't play on my other mobile devices like LG, HTC & Huawei but does on my PC though. It said video file not supported, I had tried installing MX player & VLC on previous handsets but all the files turns into that video player's indexing which I don't want. I seen CODECS packs on Play store but it usually doesn't work, the video files in question were shot years back with digital cameras & older cellphones which the original format could have been revised. Cheers!
