"Do Not Disturb" "Automatic Rules" is not working for me. I can setup a new automatic rule. At the specified time it turns on. However, it does not turn off at the specified time. Anyone else have this problem?
e.g.:
Turns on a 11:00pm, (Works)
Turn off at 7:00am, (Fails).
Hi @swampy747, welcome to the community.
For testing purposes can you please create a new rule to start in 1 minute and end in 2 minutes. See if it enables and disables, then do the same thing in safe mode and let me know what happened.
OK, I tried both with the same result. In safe mode or regular mode. A new rule that lasted five minutes. Would enter DND mode but did not shut off at the appropriate time.
This must happen for everyone?
Sure enough...I did the test as you asked. I set it for 4 minutes. It started right on time but did not turn off. So it appears as if I have the same problem. Too many issues are starting to crop up with this device. I am starting to believe that these things were not tested properly before going into production and now Sony has to play catch-up to try and patch all these bugs. I was really hoping I would not experience such things with a company as well known as Sony, but now my bubble has burst.
Sony, are you listening?????
Just bought my XZ premium yesterday and, for me, this is a HUGE problem and absolutely not a "Try this, try that." issue. Fix it and quick, it is ridiculous that such a basic feature is not fuctioning correctly...on an $800 phone.
I also noticed that several times, have to check if it's the same tomorrow morning.
It's obviously a bug, because I've never found this issue with other android phone. XZs is doing correctly with this function.
I have exactly the same issue, tried varius things to fix it but nothing works. Just wont auto disable it. Fix this asap!

Well, I have a quick fix for this issue, try set up alarm at the time you set Do not disturb to deactivated, and checked the last option in your automatic rule.
I've tried this and Do not disturb is deactivated at the time alarm goes off.
Well, I guess it's better than nothing.... for now.... but you will need some type of silent alarm if you don't want to hear anything when it turns off. Sony needs to get with the program here and get these issues fixed immediately! How can you continue to sell a phone that has major flaws and bugs galore?
Sony, are you listening? People are just going to return them and get their money back and you will have a useless pile of phones that nobody wants. This will certainly affect the sales of any other new phones you may want to release as well! FIX IT!!!!!!
