'Video image enhancement' feature degrades Google Play Movies video quality

With this option on, you can see more jaggies on the video image.

I compared it with my tablet, and it is more noticeable on simple graphics like hard-coded subtitles on the scene.

If you turn off this option in display settings, you can watch the normal video image. Although this option may make the colors more alive, I prefer turning it off.

Yeah, it can cause some playback artifacts due to the contrast increase, which in turn causes those jaggies.

All down to personal preference I guess.
