Power consumption when playing games using PS4 Remote Play

I apologize for the very late reply to your post.

I have requested some information regarding this and I will let you know as soon as I have received it!

Do note that the device has not yet been released and there is a lot of things to keep in mind when talking about battery life and power consumption, for example how many applications that are open in the background, if the STAMINA mode is activated or not, brightness, connected to Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth and so forth.

My colleague @Emir wrote a really good guide on how to improve battery time in our devices and I would recommend that you have a look at his guide for some tips and tricks!

I have now received some more information regarding PS4 Remote Play and battery consumption.

The battery consumption when you play games using PS4 Remote Play on your Xperia XZ Premium is mostly from decoding of video streaming via Wi-Fi and can be compared to playing Youtube videos.

As I wrote in my previous post, there is however a lot of different things that will affect the battery life in your device.
