Hey guys, I've been using sony xperia phones since Ericsson k800i days.. Then ray,S,z,z1,z3,z5 and now upgraded to xz premium but one thing i noticed is that sony changed their touchpads which makes me feel typing not so accuarte like my z5 and z3. The glass is now extra unnecessarily smooth maybe due to some extra oleophobic coating or the new gorilla glass 5 but i noticed this same kinda touch sense on my friend's xa ultra too who upgraded from z2 who is really pissed off with this new touch. A person who used former xperia flagships will definitely notice this
Hi @AdnanK588,
I am sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the feel of the screen. It can feel a bit weird when there's major changes but you do get used to it. I noticed the same thing as you when I upgraded.
One thing that helped me was haptic feedback. It might help for you too.
Go to Settings > Sound > Other Sounds > Vibrate on touch.
You can customise it on the keyboard too under Settings > Keyboard > SwiftKey > Typing > Sound & Vibration. You can make it stronger or weaker or use the default Android sensitivity.
