Multiple problems after battery died

Hey

after my phone shut down due to low battery at a bus drive I had many problems after re-starting it later.

- Home Button and Task Button dont work (still recognize the touch of the finger and touchscreen test was successful). Back button works though.

- phone says mobile data is turned off, but I can still use mobile data

- drop down bar only works in small, but cant be opened completely (to show whole settings)

- no notifications shown in drop down menu/bar

I have the same issues when re-started in safe mode. So I wanted to do a reset the phone and safe my data before. And now the backup process is also not working and fails (XTMCheckPermissionsFailed). Multiple tries later nothing has changed so now you're my last hope.

That's sad!!  I recommend u to backup ur data to sony online backup system which u can find under settings (backup& reset) and try to perform a software repair instead of hard reset! ' Gud luck

Hi @AlexusTevez, welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about this Slightly_frowning_Face

I agree with @pravi. If you need help performing a software repair please see here:

Thank you both for your help!

So I managed to make a backup over Xperia Transfer Mobile

Next I ran the repair thing of the Xperia Companion. It failed on the first try but then worked at the second try.

So I started the phone and it seemed like everything worked just fine.

But in the process of downloading my backup, the problems explained above occurred again (with exeption of the home button, which is now working).

Any Ideas?

Boot into safe mode and see if the problem still persists!!

If No _ then u need to diagnose the problem by uninstalling the apps which u hav installed from backup. This  can be the easiest way to findout the app that's causing the issue
