Anyone successfully had a repair via warranty?

My camera keeps shutting down due to temperature issues and my charger doesn't connect to the charging port properly anymore. Can only charge the phone on a flat surface because if you pick it up the cable falls out. It also takes 10-30 secs for the phone to even recognise the charger is attached and takes a long time to charge. I want to send it for repair under warranty but I notice that if they say it's not covered under warranty you need to pay over £20 to have the phone posted back. Has anyone had a successful repair under warranty?

If the phone is faulty and within the warranty period then providing the issue hasn't been caused by dropping or submerging in water then it would be criminal for SONY not to fix it! Get your phone sent in.

I have had repairs done on my last phone (Z3 compact) under warranty at no cost to me. The only issue I ever have is that the courier who returns it can be a little slow.
