Hello friends, found a way to unlock it, try flash and among other things I could not, so resetie factory from the cell (Restart the phone and delete data between two and leave the factory) and when they caught what I started to use and does not appeared more blocking. Try their devices, as Sony does not take a solution to the problem
Hi! Could you explain a little bit better how you did this? Thank you!!! I'm going crazy with this as I can't flash the phone with Flashtool, it finds errors all the time while flashing and aborts. I need another solution!
I've recently brought a new sony xperia c4 mobile from best buy near to my location. After few days I started to face problem with my wifi connection so I've spoke with one of the customer representative named Rachell and recieved a mail from sony with a procedure to update my mobile wifi drivers with a ref. no: 1-24088928871. After the update my phone suddenly went into theft protective lock and the worst part is, the theft protective lock application isn't responding to enter my login credentials to deactivate it. Whenever I tried to authenticate the theft protection lock it simply pops "the application isn't responding". I went to best buy as I had 14 days replacement with phone but they aren't proceeding because theft mode is activated. Now I'm requesting with sony to provide me a lunar mobile until I had my phone or send me a new cell phone as I didn't activate or ruled out my phone. It is their software update problem and customer representative issue who suggested my update. Please do help me with this issue because I don't have any means of communication to do my regular activities or else please do ask return back my money so that I don't want to choose sony any more because of this great service from Sony.
I understand your frustration but thr theft protection it's for your own good, but if for some reason you are not able to unlock it why dont you return it to best buy, as long as it's within the 14 days just tell them that it didn't worked with your carrier, just go to a different store or send it to Sony to get it unlocked.

Hello @uliwooly glad to meet you and really feel great for your valuable suggestion. So you suggest that leave the sony for making mistake and its my burden to get it replaced by moving around each best buy store for replacement as I've bought one of worlds best company who isn't even responding to customers issues. That's really great my friend, I'm glad that you've atleast confirmed me that I've made a mistake by buying Sony company products.

Stop being an apologist for this ignorant company! Listen, the theft protection is supposed to be for the owner's own good, but it absolutely is not! The company put this software on the phones it sells. If the program actually worked the way it supposed to it might be fine, but it doesn't. If your phone goes into "PROTECTED" state there is supposed to be a way that the valid owner can recover it, correct? But you can't because these idiots own code doesn't work! You will get an Android error message saying "Unfortunately, Xperia Helper has stopped". That is not a feature; that is a bug!
I come to speak to the people of Sony, at some point think fix this problem by updating the system or something like that? That a month ago I got the phone and standing there is not if I sell it. Please answer me to let me know they're going to do.
I already have tired, Sony does not give us an answer, not listen to us, here in Argentina there is news that has a section that speaks exclusively about technology, I will try to go for people to know the client that Sony has bad service, that this is a scam, pay for a cell and then the same telephone company will block it and do not want it fixed. The truth is amazing, I never thought that Sony was so, I thought they were more professional
