Both supports LTE (4G) but there's a difference in what bands they support:
D5803 UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20)
D5833 UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28)
TD LTE Band 40
I recommend that you check with your operator what bands they use first.
But also note that if you buy the phone from another region you may not have any warranty in your country.
Dear Rickard,
Which version is the one most commonly sold in the UK?
Thanks
I am wondering, as I am moving to Japan from the US, is the D5803 better for US and Japan, I haven't found anything that clearly says this, as Japan has the Docomo specific SO-02G model. I will be there on an off for a couple years, so I want to make sure I can get the most out of the network in Japan, and I will be using Docomo. Thank you
