Bad pixels?

Hi, can you tell me if this can get repaired by Sony for free? I dont want to send phone to them just to pay more to get it back unrepaired.

This is a user based forum, only your Local support can answer warranty questions.

I don't see the problem on the picture, could you circle the area with the issue?

Those white dots, kinda like sine wave, going thru screen. You can see it going near flashlight, under wifi, near bluetooth and ends in the end of display light bar.

Hi Woot,

If they are Pixels and stay white constantly then this is likely to be covered, as long as there is no physical damage/Water damage etc.

However no one can confirm if this will be under warranty until it is inspected directly by an authorised repair agent.

@Woot

Make screenshot using static wallpaper - not sony's wallpaper, those dots i have when i use default dynamic wallpaper.

If they still there register device on sony's support website and click on repair button.

That's not something you can capture with a screenshot. That is a over bright pixel, I have one in my C5, not annoying at all but those are a lot of bad pixels. Solution is to contact local support and ask for repair under warranty.
