My Vaio has a built-in camera, but I can’t use it with skype. It’s ok when I test it with skype, however, when I call a friend using video, I can’t see myself on my screen, my friend can not see me either. Any body had this problem before?

Drop your firewall and see if it works if so raise it again while is streaming. If is stops then make skype an exception in the firewall settings.

I assume you have either set the option under Video (BETA) to “start my video automatically” or alternatively clicked on start video when in a call?
