SD card reader

Hi

I am having problems reading my micro SDHC card on my Vaio. I don't think it's the adapter as it works fine with the 2gb card in it, but when it's a 4gb it won't recognise it. It's not locked either. It was suggested that it was the SD card reader itself which might not be compatible for SDHC, but this doesn't explain why it's OK for the smaller sized card.

Any suggestions ...?

Having done even more research I find from the SD Card organisation site (http://www.sdcard.org/developers/tech/sdhc/) that the cards will work with a firmware upgrade.

Anyone got any ideas where I can obtain this ...?

Hi Jeraldo,

We have has this problem before. Basically some Vaios do ...... and some Vaios don't.

It may be I have two 4gb SDHC cards to sell on eBay!
