hello!
This forum was already very usefull once so...I have a Vaio CS11S and I JUST solved the famous problem with the fan.Now I have another problem.I want to know if the warrancy covers this kind of stuff.Since I cannot explain it well in english I found in another forum another person with the same problem even if it is referred to a Mac.Please read the following lines, they describe exactly my problem a part from the fact I have not just ONE pixel but more.
thank you
I have one "lit" or "stuck" pixel on my laptop screen, but it doesn't seem to be the typical stuck pixel. The best way I can describe it is that the pixel behaves as if it has higher contrast/brightness than the rest of the screen. The pixel (or any RGB component of it) doesn't stay 100% "on", and the single pixel is difficult or impossible to notice under pure color tests (R, G, B, cyan, magenta, yellow, black, white). The pixel can turn on, off, and express a range of brightness, but it's just brighter than it's supposed to be.
What is the problem, and is there a way to fix it? (For instance, screen massaging? A software solution?)
you could try this: http://www.jscreenfix.com/
Few years ago I tried a similar program to remove a bright pixel from a monitor without success but you can give it a try since your strange pixel appeared suddently.
There are more software that claims to free stuck pixel, you just need to google it.
