AR21S HDMI output help please!

Hi,

I have just tried to output via HDMI onto a Samsung Series 6 40" LCD.

Unfortunately although the laptop will detect the TV it won't output onto it. All I get is the laptop display going black but nothing is outputting onto the TV.

Any help would be great!

Have you tried to change and match resolutions?
Have you played with FN+F7?

Yup I tried both.

Could it be software conflict?

The thing is when I plug in the cable the laptop won't recognise the TV until I restart it. Where as when I use a dell with HDMI output on the same TV it recognises it instantly and output's with no problem.

All that I get is a blank screen then it just reverts back to the laptop display after 5 or so seconds.
