KDL40NX700AEP why power does not stay on but switches off beyond control

KDL40NX700AEP why power does not stay on but switches off beyond control. Is this a common failure on Sony TV:s? Reckon this requires repairs... Bought the TV 2.1.2011, so the TV is not old.

If your Bravia is switching off & does not respond to restarting then yes I suggest you arrange a repair - Sony Repair

When power is switched on then the TV tries to open the channel but then you hear a "click" which switches

the power back to sleep mode whereafter the TV tries to re-start but with same result, power does not stay on...

Hmm definately sound like you need to book a repair..:smileysad:
