Hello Everyone,
I have seen all the threads related to HDD registration problems and also understand that sony recommends Western digital powered HDD for sony smart TVs.
I did realise this only after buying a 2TB Hitachi Touro desk. However this HDD is also a powered unit and it has been formatted to FAT32. However when I connect this to my TV and try registering on my sony bravia I get the message "The HDD connected with USB port for recording was not able to be recognized. Please confirm the connection".
Any ideas or help to make my HDD work with my sony will be much appreciated.
