UK ICS SI.1257-3114 Update is out

Before I start the update is trying to download to my pc but fails

Now I'm not bothered I've already tried it and found it worse than GB

But this is to let UK members know with that SI Number that it is out but the update fails

Staff here yes it is out I locked my bootloader flashed back my recovery firmware hoping that the update would work so I could then create an FTF file for the members on XDA but it fails at Preparing Pc for software update then 2 thirds the way through it fails

I bought my phone in UK, its the same SI number (1257-3114) and now im using it in sri lanka. However when I connect it to PCC and SUS it says phone is up to date. I see most of the people here has the problem of they see that the update is available but they cant update. My problem is it doesnt event show that update is available to us (here in Sri Lanka). I dont know what issue sony should address first, anyway we waited so long to get this update, but its really bad we cant update it yet. Please do something about this. We always believed in Sony handsets, dont disappoint us please.

I have the official 4.0.4 update. I'm on Orange in the UK. Updated other day. No probs so far.

SI number 1257-3114.

Why dont I still get it? Is it becasue of the difference of countries? PCC and SUS still shows as its up to date.

I have 1257-3114 from the UK and it also has no updates.

Really this seems to come down to SI customisation numbers not SI labels.

I'm willing to bet that those with 3114 who have an update have a customisation version that is not 3921. This may explain the confusion.

I have just downloaded the update for the build 6.0.a.3.75 is i assumed the ics update would be in there yet im still running on 2.3.7, did i assume wrong.Allso it now says that my phone is uptodate being that i forgot to buy coffee yesterday and it is like a monsoon outside im assuming y caffine starved brain is just not working

Yeah my customisation no. is 3921. May be thats the reason we dont have it yet.

If your using an unbranded sim free unit then the above comment applies it looks like only the carrier updates have been let out on the servers.  There are many of use facing the same issue but there is a post suggesting direct comment from Sony says it could be another 2 - 3 weeks before we see the generic for 1275-3114 for the customisation 3921 R5E.

Im on O2 so i guess its just the waiting game then no wonder why sony hasnt made a profit in 10years.
