Problem with my xperia pro ICS update (PC companion)

Hello, I want to upgrade my xperia pro mk16i to ics 4.0.4. The update is already in the PC companion but in step 2 that is preparing the computer before the end the step 2 the update's stops and get a message that says it is impossible to upgrade does not reach step 3. I need help please!! Thanks

I install adb drivers first time i conected my xperia, unknown sources needs to be actived? or not? and the mode need to be MSC or MTP? i put them in two modes and nothing happens

Let it be in default mode ie MTP.

Unknown sources should be always be checked.

If adb drivers are installed uncheck USB debugging and then flash

Repair again with SUS, its better to format sd card and factory reset phone before updating.

i have a problem with ics when I turn off my phone and turn back the applications listed wisepilot, a game, uefa.com, etc and this application i deleted but return to the menu

if you root your phone you can use an app like titanium backup to remove bloatware not just disable it
