Problem with my xperia pro ICS update (PC companion)

Hello, I want to upgrade my xperia pro mk16i to ics 4.0.4. The update is already in the PC companion but in step 2 that is preparing the computer before the end the step 2 the update's stops and get a message that says it is impossible to upgrade does not reach step 3. I need help please!! Thanks

try using SUS:

Sony Update Service (SUS)

also try disabling your antivirus and allow app through firewall.

i've done everything but same problem is there can't update my neo v plzzz need help

what i've done

1. install pc companion done- tried updating through it error unable to install

2. instal sus done- but after installing then clicked on open missing shortcut or instalation starts again

what should i do plzz tell me

You can  flash the firmware to your phone using flashtool.

search on forums here.

Does PCC shows that a system update is available. Tell me your SI no.

As sony has announced that there is a problem in releasing the software in various regions and is working to solve the issue.

I will ask you to wait a bit or else flash the software like me. MY SI no. is not yet listed.
