To improve your battery life
1st do NOT install any antivirus, taskiller and/or battery app (yes battery defenders drain your battery)
2nd the more accounts you sync the more your battery will drain, if you aren't using wifi turn it off, if you aren't using data turn it off, if you are using wifi or data but not syncing turn off auto sync.
you can have a bright screen but if you aren't watching movies/videos or looking at pictures turn off the bravia engine, if you aren't playing music turn off Xloud

Android apps that use power control APIs are often 'battery killers,' oh the irony

Hi Nihal,
You can see a list of applications running by navigating to
Settings > Application > Running Services
And for the brightness level use "Automatic" with White Magic on in Power Saver Mode. I have a Xperia with little over 3 weeks. My battery back is good. It lasts for full day with usage like 1 hr of talk time, 1 hr of music play back, some facebook (20 mins) and 1 hour of video palyback over wifi. I keep my data always on with Auto Sync enabled for Gmail, Facebook & Twitter. So I must say battery is not that bad as some are saying. Cheers.

Fogot to add.
Typical RAM usage will vary from 200 to 230 MB with 470 to 500 MB free.

Hello Sagar
I have kept my brightness setting as automatic and it shows my 65-80 % battery goes for display.
so i have bit problem in it! i use around 6 hrs of wifi with simple apps like whatsapp gmail facebook (i haven't installed any apps still )
by the end of day i will be left with 5%(around 7 pm)
so can you give me some suggestion regarding battery saving?
Hi Uliwolly
If we don't install antivirus then how can we protect our devices from antivirus.
Thanks Uliwooly
hope those apps come handy!
6 hours of Wi Fi usage.. Uff.. Thats a bit high. I think battery is normal with that kind of usage. And as suggested by Uliwooly, you can turn of Bravia Engine and XLoud if you are not using them. Also turn off the Auto Sync. Sync manually when required.
