I am not sure about that. I have a pre installed McAfee. I removed that and currently using AVG from Play Store.

there aren't viruses with Android if anything malware, BUT if you download apps from the market and you are cautious with bad apps, for example

if you want a live wall paper but it requires access to your contacts, sms, mms, data etc there's something wrong with it.

you should remove it mcafee, avg, kasperky etc, you don't need it, if you change your mind, just repair your phone with SUS and you will get it back, but it creates a LOT of issues not just draining your battery but connectivity issues, random restarts, apps crashing etc

I dont think so. Its nothing but just a data wipe and clean installation again.

Today is first day of usage after uninstalling AVG. And I am surprised to see that I am still left with 80% of battery while previously at the same time of day I was left with only 50% of battery. Its a huge difference. Thanks Again.
