New xperia s update dated 6/27/12, 10am PHL time

When I connected my xperia S to my laptop, a prompt saying that there's an available update for my unit. May what is this update all about and what are the modifications it will give my unit should I try to accept the update? At least I have already an idea on what to expect once I engage my xperia s to an update. Any answer is greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

Everytime I open it, it says unfortunately walkman has stopped.

The only thing I dont understand is this...Why can't I update via the link you gave me last night. Sasabihin lang niya "Update Found" then at the bottom part meron "This update is available for xperia phone. Download PC Companion to do blah blah blah"

Maybe what it only does is just check your system and direct you to PC Companion anyway if it finds any update. How about uninstall PCC, and then update using SUS?
