xperia L:Error. Camera not Available.

When I try to use my camera app or any other app that uses camera it says that it is not available. Tried to backup and do the factory settings, didnt work. tried turning off and on many times, didnt work. Can someone please help me?

To solve this issue, follow this procedure;

1. Take off back cover
2. Keep phone facing to you while you press (moderately) the area around camera with all of your fingers except one.
3. While pressing the area around camera, use your spare finger to press the “POWER” button until you see the “Shutdown” prompt. Press “OK”
4. Release the area around camera and re-boot your phone.
5. When phone re-boots, check to see if your camera has started to work.

If this does not fix it, then you can try either of these options;

• Reset your phone to factory settings.
• Install “Battery Doctor” Google Play App by Cheetah Mobile Inc., and optimize it to close all background apps.
• Install Whatsapp and try using its camera feature.
• Install Xperia™ Companion for Windows (or for Mac) on your computer from http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperia-companion/ and run a software repair. It may take from 1 to 3 hours to finish.

If none of the above options fixes it, unfortunately you’d have to either replace the phone or claim a warranty from Sony. If the warranty is expired, your best bet is to simply sell it cheap and use more funds to buy another phone.
