xperia L:Error. Camera not Available.

When I try to use my camera app or any other app that uses camera it says that it is not available. Tried to backup and do the factory settings, didnt work. tried turning off and on many times, didnt work. Can someone please help me?

I had the same problem, unfortunately there's nothing You can do about it, as I described it here:

The only solution is to change the phone

Hi zwiesz, I have the same problem.

most of the time, when I tap on Camera icon, I go to a black page with a note of "Error, Camera not available". I hadn't this problem unitl some month after I bought my Xperia L. anyway I discover a temporary solution for it.

I have Battery Doctor app on my device. It saves more using time by closing background oppening apps. whan I run it and the app did its job, so there is, bingo, the camera in working

It seems there are some software bug in this phone, and some apps stop camera working or something like that, anyway you can test this method on your, I hope this be practicable for u, too.

I had exactly the same problem with my xperia L and did as mahmoud suggested. I installed Battery Doctor and it fixed the problem! It has a bug fixer in it. Great!

I got same error so i visited sony service centre but they said i have to pay 4600/- 

what the **bleep** is this why should i pay the money there is no physical damage by me 

so why should i pay ??

what should i do ??

should i broadcast it over youtube so people can know what is going on in sony ..

The camera is worst,even a 2mp mobile phone can able to capture videos and photos clearly without any noise but the 8mp camera fails...

How does battery doctor help to fix this problem? Same issue with my phone and the service center people said it costs 10K to fix it (basically they want to change the board itself) and no physical damage also to the phone. I don't understand why they can't think that for 10K I can add some more and buy new phone only.....

Hi 

I have the same problem. Before an year, I did the software update and the camera worked for couple of months. After that it stopped working and suddenly it started working one day. Now again it doesnt work.. 

Im really wondering whats happening. I tried clearing data on camera settings and also tried installing the Battery Doctor app. No luck... Uhhh... Same problem...

Any advice??
