i have no voice recorder in my xperia

I am Jimmy James from Dubai,i have no voice recorder in my newly purchased xperia L C2105,running 4.1.2,150.A.2.17.moreover i have not recieved the next update which was released on 29-10-2013.please help me to find a solution for this problem.

Yes you can access the sound recorder from the small apps menu. Press the button for recent apps (the one to the right of the home button) > press the icon that looks like a microphone. You'll find your voice recorders in the note application.

As Ashoksc19 said do a factory reset, but first bettery backup Your data.

If i dont want to do factory reset cause it deletes every thing on phone what to do?
