Damaged video,photos after switching data storage(videos,photos)and/or transferring to SDcard viaPC

Sorry for the long subject,but I couldn't really explain it shortly.My problem is that my phone corrupts photos and videos after taking them via the camera,I recorded a 30min video of me and my friends playing soccer/football and when I wanted to play it back,the video had green lines in it or didn't even play,claiming that the video had an invalid URL...same is with files downloaded from my pc,they work on my laptop but when I transfer them via MediaGo they either can't be played,are corrupted or unreadable.The SD card itself isn't corrupted because I plugged it in via an adapter and all the files I transferred(manually,not through MediaGo)were fine and the phone read them ok,but I don't want to have to turn off the phone and eject the SD card every time I want to transfer a file 😕 .My card is a class 4 Kingston 8GB SDHC.I didn't have these problems with my X8,why does having a better phone mean more problems ,please help me on this because I've already tried formatting the card 3 times with no luck,I also factory resetted it,same result.Oh and some of the videos I have on it play,but they stop at random(different every time)times saying invalid URL or the video can't be played.

I think I may have come across an answer to the corruption issues with sd cards in the xperia z phones. It's to do with the phones only having been tested with sd cards up to class 4. Any sd card of a higher speed class may cause unpredictable results.

I've just ordered a class 4 32gb San disk card for my xperia z. When it turns up I'll try it out and report back with the results. I hope it sorts it as I am at my wits end with music, videos and photos that are being saved to my sd card getting corrupted.

Well...maybe it'll work but my Kingston SDHC card is a class 4,and it still has corruption...

It is kind of low (just class 4),but now you will see how it works on your device.Keep us updated.

Oh and I made another little discovery btw,when trying to backup my phone(through the system backup and restore app)it gives me an error when trying to back up chrome...maybe it's the one causing the problem?

I've done the repair and w8ed for changes(that's why I'm writing now,instead of 2 days ago),but the sound glitches and inability to play songs is still there,the repair didn't do anything unfortunately.

Really do not know what to say anymore,it seems and endless problem.It might be best if you could go to a sony service with your phone to be checked.
