Hello everyone. Hopefully you can help me.
I've had a Sony BDP-S350 blu-ray player for over a year now with no problems.
I've just bought the Time Tunnel 9 disc DVD box set region 2, but every disc stops playing after the 20th Century Fox logo at 44 seconds?
Any ideas?
Jim

Hi again,
many people worry that they going to fluff the update process and its easy for most of us to say its easy if you dont know how.
your machine can be updated by ethernet cable, just get a cable long enough from your router to your player,
then it should detect an update available, just remember not to touch the player until its completed the update.
Hi,
I have not seen Time Tunnel in years!, must watch out for it, ok things in perpective i have many boxsets, of all sci fi series and even the brilliant 24, all played on my 570 blu ray player and have had no problems,
i find it rather odd yours stops on every disc at that point, do you have another player to try, even the trusty old DVD player?, just for elimination perposes also though i cant see the relevance have you up dated your player to the latest firmware? worth a try.
Thanks for your quick response.
I haven't got an old dvd player to try, but I did play it on my PC at work, and it plays fine.
All my other DVDs work fine, but this is quite a new release, so maybe there's some different coding on it?
I've read about updating the firmware, but never done it. Maybe this is the problem?
Hi again,
hang on a mo !, this boxset, whats the region coding on it?, is it region 2 or region 0 (all regions) anything other than that it wont play, as said before im not sure if updating the firmware will solve it or not, but it wont hurt to do it.
It says region 2 on the disc and it's a UK player, so it should work.
I'm worried that I might mess up the player by updating the firmware, as I've heard it could go wrong?
Any thoughts?
