intermittantly wen I load a disc into the player it fails to load and an error message appears on the diplay "vers706" and the player locks up. The only way to reset it is to use the age old switch off and on and then it loads up.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so ...solution?
Thanks
Hi,
have you tried a firmare update to see if it clears it?
No not yet, i assume I download the updated firmware onto a disc and place the disc in the BR player?
Hi,
yes you can download it to a disc if you are familiar with that procedure, as you need to burn it to the disc and make sure its finalised and the right size, however a far simpler way is to connect a UWA-BR100 dongle to give you Wi Fi access and the player will update itself if its set to do so.
please do not take for gospel that the update is a fix, just a process of elimination.
