NTFS/FAT32 BDP-S185

I've read that the BCDP-S185 should support both NTFS and FAT32 file structure on USB.  So far I haven't got NTFS working anyone else got it working?

BDP S 185 reads NTFS files but the external HDD must be supplied by an external power and not by the USB of the BDPs185. The problem is the USB supply of the BR reader which is too low for external HDD (I tried it with NTFS and FAT32 HDD supplied by USB and it don t work . But with an old one wtih external supply it works ...) Bye

sorry - other posts say this only reads fat32 so your stuck with a 4gb file limit and lots of wasted space

BDP-S185 DEFINITELY works with NTFS.

I used a Western Digital Passport 1tb USB 3.0 on my S185 with no external power supply, 75% of the time I will get lucky and the Blu Ray player will read it no problem, but I can confirm that this Blu Ray player will require a Hard drive with external power supply for 100% compatibility.

I also have the S380, which powers  USB hard drive no problem, no power plug required. So the S185 usb power is a little weak, but does work sometimes.
