not sure what you have missed as im no expert and done mine by trial and error, on your bd player check settings in set up under internet settings and set up under wired set up, you may need to enter password for you router, on your pc check control panel/network and internet/view network devices and see if your pc is picking it up, back on the XMB your player should have your media player displayed there then it should work. i hope this helps, also i hope others respond who are more qualified to cover with anything i missed!.
