Hi Guys
I have spoken to Sony and Samsung about compatability, both are saying contact the other.
I have a DAV DZ410 sony home cinema which worked superbly with my old JVC TV. When the TV packed up i bought a Samsung D6100 TV. I was assured by the guy in Comet.... the the two would work perfectly.
When i put in a dvd i get great picture and brilliant sound through the home cinema.
I used to be able with my JVC and DAV DZ410 set be able to play sky movies and have the sound played through the DAV home theatre. I dont seem to be able to do this with the Samsung.
Have i connected it up incorrectly? I am using a HDMI cable and a scart adaptor ( supplied with the TV).
Does anyone have any ideas or is it just not possible?
Thanks guys

Hi there
From my understanding on this after having a quick look at the manual online (pages 27, 30 and 31), What you can do is:
1 - Connect DVD/Sound system to your TV via HDMI/SCART
2 - Connect the Sky digital receiver box (audio line out) to the DZ410 via the component cables (audio line in)
3 - When watching sky ensure that the DZ410 is on and the input is selected to LINE
Hope that helps
