I have a Sony BDP-S370 Blu-Ray player, connected by HDMI to a 42" LG Plasma TV.
Recently we've noticed that the player will drop it's output to the TV while the movie continues to play back without issue. I pause the film and change the inputs on the TV and it will sometimes return, or it returns on its own. This has happened with several discs and with .AVI files from the front USB port too.
The firmware is up to date but it appears to have made no difference.
Is there a setting I can play with to try to stop this, or do I seem to have a faulty unit?
It's getting to the stage where I want to swap this with the Samsung player I have upstairs so I can enjoy a film.
