Has any else been able to activate the built in mic on the 2022 BRAVIA XR A80K? I have tried the switch and no light LED or response. The prefs all have checks in Sensitivity (high) and LED voice detection on. Thanks

If it is like my A95K, then after switching on the microphone button, try using the microphone button on your Remote.to show and agree to the privacy disclaimer before the on-board microphone starts to work.
Yup Tried that several times. Google assistant responds but no mic help. Thanks for the reply

You haven't mentioned it so I assume you have tried the usual soft reset and maybe a full factory reset with the mic button turned on.
Soft reset - hold down the remote power button until you see the restart prompt on the screen.
I have not done a full factory reset. I don't want to go through the process of loading all my apps and info and sign in etc if unnecessary.
Can you confirm if Google has a current software problem with this particular Sony app interface which is an ongoing investigation seeking a fix or solution?

Are you sure that you have the model and serial correct?
Cause you have a A80K with v6.5942. Which is not the correct version based on the website.

Well, I think you will need to give Sony a call, cause that's not right at all! And that might harm the TV even more, hopefully you get this sorted soon, cheers.
