Automatic switch between finder/monitor doesn't work

Hi my finder/monitor has stopped switching automatically.  the view finder is clean.  The finder/monitor switch is on Auto.   Only had the A9 a couple of months and disapponted with this.

Could you please try the troubleshooting tips here to see if that helps reset the finder/monitor.

I've seen this caused by dust or water on the eye sensor. Remove the rubber eyecup and clean and all should be well.
