a6000: Sudden issue with lens recognition samyang lens

had my a6000 about 8 months and lens about 1 month all been working fine then last night it gave the error message "lens not correctly attached, attach lnes correctly" --- but it is attached properly and its a manual lens, not been dropped or anything like that - any suggestions please
