xperia z dead?

Hello guys,

i just got my new xperia z yesterday. First it was working fine and all but suddenly it turned of without warning and since then when i plug it in to recharge or press the power button and even when i try the powr+volume up button the phone shows the sony logo and turns off again. Whats wrong with it? Please help me.

You can do two things here:

1) Take it back to the store you bought it from, they should probably be able to change the unit.

or

2) Try to do a software repair via SUS: http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

I would prefer to do the first, good luck.

Dude i got the same problem is it hardware or something im tryn now the sus hope it work please replay me because my phone do the same thing when the battery is about 70% and thanks

it could be a courrpt android was installed on phone so it goes dead but when you repair it you upload new fresh stock copy to phone that isnt corrupted

Hello,

I have the same problem. The phone was immerged in water with all ports closed, but water came in anyway. I've send it to repair but they didn't repair the phone. Afterward it was working fine... BUT,  a month ago, the battery was changing percentages really fast. (from 50%-->63, 80%--->4%, etc). I send it again to reparation but they didn't repair the phone. 

Now when i put it to charge, the phone goes on and off with sony logo. 

I installed the repair kit, and the update 4.3..

but didn't work... what should i do ?

Charge the phone for 2 hours,force restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).If not working,repair via sony update service.

I need help regarding the Xperia z. Yesterday I put juprekasno charge is depleted to 0%. Overnight I put the battery believing that it will be all right in the morning. In the morning light, and tried not to turn bright red LED, when I put it on the wall charger lights up red ice about 30 seconds and then turns off when it is switched off again from the charger and plug the charger again red LED for approximately 30 seconds and then turns off. I tried all of the reset and the PC Companion 2.1., With the volume keys on and off but nothing. Please help I have a cell phone warranty is purchased in Croatia, and I moved to Sweden. so no guarantees mob was aged about one and a half year. What should I do. Thank you.
