Problem to connect z2 to pc

Good morning, i bought a Z2 yesterday at a second hand phone shop, it works really fine, i am very happy with it. But when i tried to connect the phone to my laptop it doesn't recognize well the phone, it goes crazy! "connect, disconnect, connect,disconnect... " i think it can be the usb cable that is broken or something.... If someone can help me with this issue, can be a great help! I am from Spain, sorry for my bad english... Thank you!

First thing to do is to try a different USB cable, and a different USB port on your PC. Keep us updated.

Thank you very much for your answer, in fact today i am going to buy an usb cable because i don't have another one to try with the z2...

Hi,

Do you experience any issues while charging the phone? You can also try to connect the phone to another PC to see if same behaviour appear. Also, take a look at the following FAQ topic for some information regarding USB-connection:

Hello, i went 1 hour ago to a phone shop and they told me that the cable is not the original... My Z2 is from second hand and they gave me it with the wrong cable, it's from a galaxy! Now i am going to buy the good cable, thank you for all the answers! 🙂
