For some unknown reason after days of working fine all of a sudden the phone will lose its network connection and claim the Sim isn't install. When this happens the phone also refuses to shut down or restart, hanging on the shutting down screen. Forcing a hard shutdown using the power and volume keys. Again this only results in a shutdown if the power supply is fitted otherwise it reboots again and gets stuck when it tries to unlock the Sim. To successfully get the sim back you have to leave it turned off for some time with no power supply etc. I've tried a factory reset a couple of times using companion but no use.

Hi Cameron, I have tried a new Sim but it doesn't recognise that it is there either. I've also noticed that the WiFi is disabled at the same time that it can't find the Sim and won't turn back on.

I see. Based on this I recommend you contact your Local support team to arrange a repair assessment.
