Thanks Ramto_8!

I wait your next pics to check your answer as a solution, only if the glue effect, as I really think is it, fades away. :smileysmileythumbsup:

Also I read your complaint about the big lens distortion in the other thread... Very bad for a 800€ device...

Soo.. been using the phone for one week and... i noticed no change in the color balance. Guess it will take a while or the screen has indeed bad calibration.

Anyway, i have used the white balance control and got myself a pretty accurate white (R 108, G 0, B 108). So, no problem for me! It will just take some time to calibrate but once done, its pretty good. Don't think sony can release a software fix for this one since this seems to vary from phone to phone.

Also check out the review by Erica, she talks about the screen calibration. You can see that her calibration is completely different from mine:

Hi @Ramto_8!

I agree with you, I think the glue used for the display needs more time to evaporate. I have experience with the Z2 before and X Compact now and I noticed that glue needs aproximately 1-2 months to fully go away. I hope this is the same also for you.

I know Erica, I appreciate so much its review about Z5 Premium where shows in deep the calibration of the display with the absurd blue cold tint. However, you must consider that changing the RGB values you change also contrast ratio and brigthness (as she say). According to her, its display is bluish and the change the slider calibration with much red; however I saw more reddish whites. personally I prefer buish ones because more near with the daylight. So, if the little greenish tint doesn't annojing you so much, I suggest you to use the defaul color calibration and wait. If no results, I think could be a defect of display.

Thank you very very much for your info and I appreciate if you could continue to update the forum about.

Best!

I haven't noticed any tint of green on the screen. I should put it side by side to my fathers iphone 7. That will tell me how calibrated my screen actually is

Hi @Hazza!

Could you post here the shot of your XZP near the iPhone 7 either in Professional and Standard Mode to see that you have not greenish tint? That will be very useful, if you can...

Thanks!
