Whatsapp badge couter doesn't work

Hello all! 

Whatsup badge counter doesn't work. Xperia xz premium dual. Launcher xhome. Is it common sony problem? When fix will be available?

Please stop sending the old thread to everyone. Itis a new problem. I have xperia x with the same android and xhome versions. Whatsup is working fine there. The problem on xz premium only.

you might want to contact Whatsapp about the issue, they should investigate it then.

keep in mind that it's a third party app, and it's up to them, the app developers, to address any issues and/or features.

Guys, sorry,but the most popular messanger in the word work bably on your top device. Because of xhome programm (nova is working perfect). The best what you can do is to adreess the issue to your developers instead of sending two years old threads.

To be honest, I don't see a problem with Nicolas post, as he is simply pinpointing the problem.

I never had this issue on any Xperia device and only knew about it at Huawei and Honor having that problem.

Now, on a flagship phone, if your Badges don't work it should be a problem of the phone software. If it is an WA problem, why is it only not working on XZP? Even after Update on Z5 Premium the badges work, yet not on XZP.

But I am confident Sony will get a solution.
