Video experience is fantastic

I'd like to post a positive on this phone, in contrast to some of my other gripes (namely the camera). 

I've been watching some YouTube and other content today and I found this phone so far has been my favourite among any phone for this experience. The large bezel allows me to hold the phone how I like without accidentally touching anything and as opposed to some phones I have owned.

Also opposed to my previous comments about lacklustre loud speaker performance, it really seems to shine in videos without so much music. The stereo speakers give me a very balanced and immersive experience when held in landscape. Once again also, headphones are great too. 

The screen is very consistent and incredibly responsive. I would buy a gaming monitor version of this screen in a heartbeat.

Anyway that's my shill on behalf of Sony. Still strongly unhappy with camera but I have started to wonder if viewing photos on the 4k screen brings out more of the worst then what you would see on QHD phones, but still not happy either way.

The screen is phenominal when there is 4k content. And the bezels make it look like a mini movie theater. I love the design. However, (besides the camera issue) my complaint is that I can't seem to find any 4k video besides on youtube. I'm quite bummed out becuase I was lead to believe there was going to be some content on Amazon prime for this phone.

@rayvin400, have you tried MKBHD channel on YouTube? I'm fairly sure he uploads videos in 4K. you might at least check if 4K works for you on YouTube that way

Yeah, been watching all MKBHD videos in 4k since i got this phone. Also check out 4k HDR videos on youtube. Although am not sure if the videos are truly playing in HDR.... those look awesome on the phone. (if you have the right internet speed...)

One thing I noticed though is the screen can get very sharply bright outdoors in the daylight to the point it distorts the colour. But not a major deal. Don't enjoy watching videos in the sunlight anyway. 

Apart from that still very much enjoying the video experience. I'm also surprised the battery holds its own as well even after watching videos.
