Phonearena is anti Sony and very pro iPhone they should change their name to iPhoneArena. I have a feeling if used properly the XZs and Premium can match any flagship phone and that includes the Galaxy S8. Maybe it won't be as good as the S8 but it'll come close

@Ninjabird7: huh, didn't really know it depends on what type of dispaly panel is used. but I'm sure people would be able to find creative ways to utilize the 4k HDR screen now with a much better CPU..

I can see plenty of uses for it, you can play 4k hdr Netflix and Amazon. I'm sure you can also play 4k content off YouTube just make sure you have a fast internet connection to watch any 4k content. You can also watch videos that you record with any 4k hdr camera.

Dear Sony,

I have always been looking forward every unveiling of the next flagship of Sony hoping that this cutting edge, many of the world's first innovations, shiny new flagship smartphone has the simple technology that is called FM radio.

As a loyal Sony fan, I'm still using my xperia z1 and I'm itching to buy the xperia xz but it doesnt have fm radio so I skipped that and so I'm still hoping for a miracle for this one.

Also, I'm suggesting, if you really dont want to add it on your firmware, that you can put it in the playstore for those who want FM radio on their xperias. How difficult is that?

Please bring back the FM radio Sony. The XZ premium does have the hardware, so why don't you just enable it or offer it as an option in the Playstore?

A lot of users still want FM radio. It is not outdated yet as it is a good alternative to streaming services (it uses way less power and it is free). Plus, it can be a life saver when there is no internet connection, and therefore it is a basic feature that should be available on EVERY phone.

I really want to get this phone, but no FM = no buy. Please don't force me to get the G6 instead.

I agree. I love Sony because of it. My first phone with FM radio was W580i and ever since then, all my phones must have FM radio. It's convenient for commuting and will save battery when internet connection is disconnected. I do carry a Walkman with me but it's inconvenient to use 2 headphones ie one for radio, one for taking up calls when you're standing up in a crowded public transportation.

I love Sony for its voice clarity as I listen to talks and interviews and hate the hissing sound on other brands. I really hope Sony will bring back FM radio to its flagship models and I hope not to have to turn to other brands. If Snapdragon allows it, why disable it?
