Hello guys, I've been reading for severals hours today about QuickCharge technology and came up to the conclusion that my device should be charging much faster than it is ( Even with battery care off )
I was a bit underwhelmed when I compared the QC3.0 with the QC2.0 as I expected much faster charging.
Little digging and came up with the conclusion that the UCH12 charger that came with the XZP is not listed as compatible on Sony website ! ???!!!!? ?
https://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/accessories/quick-charger-uch12/specifications/
HOWEVER the UCH12W is the one that should be used ?

I don't get it. Sony packed an incompatible QC3.0 charger in the box ?
The charger came with UBC20 cable ...
Any explanation please ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
90% of the battery capacity is 2900 mah ....
The charger max output is 2700 mah ( UCH12 ) so you can't get a 90% charge in less than 1 hour 20 mins because it's adaptive and charging rate is halved at 80% and if you happen to force the full charging output at 2700 mah you need 1.074 hours or 65 mins and this is again, NOT POSSIBLE.
My bad, It's from 15% to 90%, I miss it.
Because I have an app to automatically kill the background app for power saving , and this app will failure if reboot the phone,so I never reboot the phone always charge in 15% when the stamina mode comes out.
I just did a test:
UGREEN QC3.0 charger + UGREEN usb3.0 type-c cable (gen 1)
0%-90% , 56 minutes
15%-90%, 49 minutes
0%-100%, 72 minutes
I have an app to automatically kill the background app for power saving
just for your information, those apps don't work on Android. they make you feel better by displaying how they're cleaning memory and such, but the truth is that killing processes on Android doesn't improve performance or battery life, and can actually worsen it (if an app is killed before it finished doing a task, it will restart and start the task from the beginning, so the CPU load is increased for longer).

Thanks for the information,I Know what you mean ,and yes there are a lot of power saving app like you said . But this one "brevent" it's really working without root ,try it out, especially on sony phones. I do not know the principles, but it needs you ADB some command goes in the phone authorize this app like root, then it will working together with system battery optimization, also stop APP linkage self-starting. These ADB command will fail after reboot, need ADB again.
Because there are many china commonly used APP will be spread in the background and linkage self-starting to eat you battery ugly. So all brand of phones china firmware will have the system comes with the official background APP start control ,except sony, only sony. For guys use other region of firmware or can't root your phone like sony they all using this brevent APP, very famous in our region. At least 10% can be saved in a day ,based on the number of your background APP,some times save more.
