I encrypted my SD Card and wanted to transfer some files to Internal Memory and there was a surprise when enabling "Enable Write Access" at FX Explorer (it was the same at Total Commander, OI File Explorer and so on). I had to decrypt SD Card and to make Factory reset to get working! When are you going to fix it, please?
Also, my Internal memory is encrypted, for the first 4 times it asked me for a PIN code after reboot but now it doesn't ask for it.
You were right, **bleep** Tasker Thank you. Anyway, that SD Card encryption issue is more frustrating 😕
may I ask how did you encrypt the SD card? I don't have the XZP so I'm not sure if the option is there by default or if it requires some ADB trickery to access.
When you insert new SD Card into it it is not encrypted by default. If you wanna encrypt it just go Lock screen & Security - Encrypt SD Card.

I think your are right: I had all kind of strange things happening, after encrypting my external sd card. At first I couldn't make the connection to the encryption of the sd card. But retrospectively, I think that this was probably the root of all my problems in regard to the thread Reboot after network change with sd card inserted on Xperia XZ.
I really don't want to reproduce this, as a factory reset would be neceessary to get the phone working again with such a non-working sd card.
