After updating to latest version of Nougat, phone has poor ram management.
After using for a while, opening 1 game then closing it through the multitasking window, then opening the Music app. With no running app other than the Music app in the multitasking window, opening the Spotify app takes a while. When I checked the running processes in the Developer Options in the Settings Menu, the System is using up 1.6-1.9GB of RAM and the apps are using about 600MB of RAM, with the Free RAM space at about 300MB. I don't know what seems to be the cause of the problem. Rebooting the phone solves the problem for a while but it comes back after multitasking then closing the background apps.
Resetting and reformatting the phone to factory settings does not solve the problem totally as I have recently factory reset the phone, the problems stops for a while then persists again.
Booting in Safe Mode does solve the problem for now, but the problem is how do I find the third party app that is affecting the performance of the phone.
This is a problem I noticed after updating to build number 41.2.A.7.8 and the hardware should not be a problem as I also own a Huawei P9 that also has 3GB of RAM, Nougat 7.0 and the same set of 3rd party application without closing apps in the multitasking menu and it runs smoothly, much more smoothly than my Xperia XZ.
I don't know whether it is poor RAM management at all, System bugs or 3rd Party application bugs, but Sony, please fix it as I am not only one experiencing the problem and the problem is not felt on other phones like my P9 and my family members' Flagship Galaxy phones.
Thank you!

Not to mention that the battery drain on the update is much more prominent than previous software builds.

This is the RAM usage after opening 1 game, messenger and facebook then closing the apps in the multitasking app. Then, listened using the Music app for 30 mins then switching over to Spotify which did not even open properly.
