Not recieving texts

Just bought a new phone and kept the same number now not recieving texts. I've completed a factory reset and deleted all messages but still not recieving them. Please help 😂

was your previous phone an iPhone by any chance? if yes, you'll need to deactivate iMessage in order to receive texts https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage

When you changed your phone, did you also change your sim card to a newer sim card?

In that case it might be the reason that the old sim card is still set to primarily receive texts.

Then you need to open the phone app and dial *222# (followed by the green phone).

This should activate messaging services on your new sim card and allow you to receive texts.

Probably other providers use different dial codes. *222# at least does the trick for Telekom Germany.

If it doesn't work for you, you might want to call your provider and ask for the correct dial code 

to activate messaging on your new sim card.
