I wonder why it is so difficult for Sony to provide the Release Notes / changelog for each particular release... 

I do have a feeling that the crown would fall from their head. At least they behave like this. Communication with customers was always their weakest point.

I had this update. After a day, it seem battery is improve a little. Camera in automode still stupid with white balance. How long we can get double tab wake up and lock screen? Poor Sony.

heh, I've read that exact sentence so many times on XDA that I'll only believe it when I see an official release not from Sony stating that they've made some battery optimisations.

I setup a pin code to start up my phone and fingerprint lock screen. After this security patch, the pin code require to start up phone still working but fingerprint lock screen got bypass first time phone log in which i feel a little insecure.

I remember my Xperia X not requiring pattern unlock during the first boot after an update, so that's nothing out of ordinary.

I just received the update, I'm pretty sure the music played from speaker on max volume is louder now, but also seems to be more distorted on higher volumes. looks like Sony tried to keep the volume a bit lower for a reason (sound quality).

edit: there was also new preinstalled app, Amazon Prime Videos, which I promptly disabled.

I can certainly say that the security uptade of 1st July 2017 is here!!! 

But I don't know anything more. I don't understand why Sony don't explain it when you get the update. Anyway your phone will be run almost 7 Celsius more hot during the upgrade.
